SCRIPT is simply a word that means “substitute money” – in other words, SCRIPT are gift certificates from national and local retailers. They are the same gift certificate that you can buy at the store. Many popular retailers participate in our SCRIPT program including JC Penney, The Gap, Shell Gas, Starbucks, Pizza Hut, Max and Erma’s, Applebee’s and many, many others.
You’re probably asking yourself how these stores help us raise money. It’s simple – SCRIPT participating retailers agree to sell gift certificates to our team at a discount. Family’s like yours buy the certificates for full face value, and redeem them for full face value at the merchant of choice.
The beauty of SCRIPT is that you put your regular household shopping dollars to work. You earn money for your daughter’s expenses without spending a single penny.
I will place SCRIPT orders twice a month, on the 1st and the 15th. Simply have you’re daughter return the order form to Alexis Hotz (varsity) at practice and within a few days you will have your gift certificate(s) delivered back to you. A running accumulative credit will be tracked for your daughter. And at various times throughout the year, the money will be transferred into your account to be used for ROCKETTE expenses. The money earned does not go back to the team but directly back into your daughters account.
