The largest fundraiser of the year is the annual Salem Rockette Golf Outing scheduled for August 8, 2010 at the Fox Hills Golf Club. Funds raised from this event benefit both Varsity and Junior Varsity girls equally.
Each Rockette is responsible for the following:
One golf hole sponser
One golfing foursome
Sell 20 raffle tickets
Participate with assigned "family" members in soliciting donations
Below, are the Rockette "families" where experienced girls were paired with the non-experienced. Each family is assigned a specific route to solicit donations for the golf outing. Due to a lack of Rockette drivers when compared to previous years, there is a need for more parent involvement in donation solicitation this year. A specific instruction letter and route will be emailed to each family member. |

We know this can be overwhelming for first year girls, however, we are here to help you. The idea is for the "families" to pick dates where they can work their routes together. Make note of stores that have closed and new stores that may have opened. If the manager is not in, make sure you note when you should come back or follow up (even by phone). Your completed route sheet needs to be turned in when you are finished. Take extra copies of the letter and donation form and wear your Rockette t-shirts / jackets, etc.
All donations can be turned in at practice as you receive them. Turn them in to your coach who will notify Heike Krause. Make sure you note where the donations came from, your name or all of your family members, whichever applies. The sooner you start the better.
Dinner only for non-golfers is $35 and is due by July 21, 2010.
